In article questions of a motivational orientation of a choice of future profession and receipt of the younger generation in the educational organizations of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for civil defense, to emergency situations and natural disaster response are discussed. Timely identification of professional motives, interest and tendency to the rescuer's profession at entrants is a significant factor of satisfaction with a profession in the future and formation of a course of life of the younger generation. Results of monitoring and assessment of development of individual and psychological professionally important qualities, dynamics of a motivational orientation of cadets according to the obligatory standard are given, and also results of research of a motivational orientation in the professional sphere with experimental groups cadets of a third year and other courses of faculty of engineers of fire safety of the Siberian rescue and firefighting academy of the public fire service of Emercom of Russia are presented.
